Hey Kids!

It's so important that you stay safe and out of harms way at all times. So, since we can't always be there to help you out, we've put some tips and rules together for you.

Follow the rules, read the tips and BE SAFE and SMART!

The "Just Ask" Rule

No matter what someone asks you to do, you must ask permission before doing anything. These tips will you help you stay safe in either of these situations:

If a stranger tries to lure you, by asking for help or offering you something.

or
If a person you know asks you to go with them or do something that you don't usually do.
Your response should be,

"I have to ask permission."

The "Four Foot Rule"

All children should practice these simple rules:

1.You should not allow anyone you don't know to get close to you.

2. You should protect your personal space by backing up and "standing four feet away" from people who are talking to you.

Run, Yell, and Tell

If anyone tries to grab you or take you without your permission, you should:

Run-a-way from the person
Yell to get attention
Tell your parents or another adult what happened
