Shallon
Caldwell Funding
Coordinator
Shallon
was recently hired as the funding coordinator for the Missing
Children Task Force. She has a bachelor's degree in Criminal
Justice from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Shallon
began her journey in law enforcement with the Colorado Bureau
of Investigation (CBI) by completing her internship in the
Missing Children's Unit. She was then hired under a grant
to continue her work at the CBI where she assisted families
and law enforcement in the location of missing children. She
worked closely with the staff of the Missing Children Task
Force.
When
the grant money ended she was hired in the Identification
Unit at CBI as a data specialist where she became certified
as a ten print examiner. She then went on to work with the
Parker and Glendale Police Departments as evidence custodian
and Crime Scene Investigator. While there she became a latent
print examiner and processed evidence from crime scenes.
Shallon
took a break from her law enforcement career to focus on her
3 wonderful children. She is now excited about the opportunity
to get back to her passion of finding missing children and
working with families and law enforcement. Shallon is enthusiastic
in her efforts to raise funds and locate and recover missing
children. She will be a great asset to the Task Force and
her drive to fulfill the mission of the organization.
